About Adrian

Adrian Garcia is originally from Watsonville, CA and is the father of Cruz Garcia. Adrian attended Watsonville High School from 1992 - 1996 under the coaching of his father Gary Garcia, who wrestled at Chico State University and is a high school hall of fame wrestling coach.

Adrian went on to wrestle Division I at U.C. Davis from 1996-2001 where he was a starting team member, team captain, and part of one of the nation's top recruiting classes in 1996. At U.C. Davis Adrian earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and went on to receive a Master's Degree from Sacramento State in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Performance. He went on to lead corporate health and wellness programs and teach MMA/conditioning classes with Team Alpha Male.

Today, Adrian continues an active lifestyle including competitive wrestling at the Masters National level. Outside of wrestling Adrian loves spending time with family, surfing, snowboarding, and traveling. He attributes much of his success to the values learned through the sport of wrestling and is passionate about sharing this with today's youth.

Adrian is committed to helping kids master the fundamental power positions in the sport through high levels of repetition. In addition to being a great coach, Adrian also became a USA Wrestling National Freestyle Champion in 2022 at Nationals.
