Folkstyle Season Prep and Team Tryouts

REGISTRATION IS OPEN: MatTime has begun its pre-season wrestling classes and Coach Adrian enters his 3rd full season as Head Wrestling Coach at MatTime and we are excited about what we are seeing. As we move towards our 4th official wrestling season, it is becoming clear to us that our wrestlers are hitting their stride this off season. They'll be coming out of the gates quickly this year and it will be fun to watch. Our pre season wrestling will serve to warm up our existing Team members and also evaluate prospective wrestlers under the guidance of Coach Adrian Garcia - one of the best youth coaches in our State.

Does Your Wrestler Have What it Takes to Make a MatTime Wrestling Team?

This MatTime Pre-Season will provide an opportunity for your child - if they are new to MatTime - to be evaluated if they’re interested in making a our Team this year. Maybe they are wrestling for their middle school and ready to make the jump to the next level of competiion and wrestling. The coach-to-wrestler ratio is unmatched and we are blessed to have high level wrestling coaches, several of which are active competitors. This is also a great opportunity for accomplished Jiu Jitsu athletes that are interested in making the jump over to wrestling and are interested in wrestling in High School. Several of our wrestling Team members at MatTime started in Jiu Jitsu and have gone on to become very successful wrestlers through MatTime.

MatTime continues it's ascendence in Youth Wrestling and having the quality of coaches that we have will continue to serve our young wrestlers who are intending wrestle in High School and become a integral part of their High School program.

PLEASE NOTE, YOUR WRESTLER WILL NEED A VALID USA WRESTLING CARD TO ATTEND. You can register for a new card at the USA Wrestling Membership website.

MatTime is not tied into any one High School we open our doors to all athletes that are looking to get involved and compete in the most difficult sport in the world. Our goal at MatTime, and always will be, is to build good, strong kids. Compete, we will. Develop good wrestlers, absolutely. And we will have success. More importantly we will build resolve in our kids within a country that is temporarily off track. We’ll teach them to be comfortable in chaos. They will learn to defend themselves (by way of wrestling) and nothing will be given, only earned. We will instill grit, discipline and respect for their fellow athletes. We are pro hard work and anti-woke. This is MatTime and we are strong.

Coach Adrian is a fantastic Junior Wrestling coach that will keep it fun for the kids but also ensure that there skills are sharpened as they step into the sport of wrestling. Coach Adrian brings with him an exceptional High School and College resume and he has a style that fits well with different types of wrestlers, large and small.
