Grant Gambrall recruited by the University of Iowa recruit, and was the number one ranked wrestler in the United States at 171 lbs coming out of High School Grant beat the nation's No. 1 and No. 2 ranked recruits (for Penn State and Illinois respectively) in shocking fashion which sealed the deal for the Hawkeyes.
Grant was a two-time state champion and three-time state finalist for Iowa City West High School. Gambrall also became a Junior Folkstyle National champion and a Cadet Greco-Roman National Champion. He was a Junior All-American in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
Continuing on the path he set in high school, Grant went on to become and NCAA All American and placed 3rd at the NCAA Championships his junior year. After earning a degree in Audiology, Grant found himself in California for an Internship and we were fortunate enough to bring him aboard MatTime to help out on occasion. Soon after he became involved at Del Oro high school and was hired as a full time coach. As a wrestling community we're very happy to have Grant in Loomis.
Here is a list of Grant's wrestling accomplishments:
Coach Adrian will head up our Kids Wrestling group at MatTime. Adrian was a Div. I wrestler at U.C. Davis and was an NCAA Qualifier. Adrian does a fantastic job with the kids and we're happy to have him as part of USA Gold and MatTime. We may also get some help from Adrian's father, Gary Garcia, a Calfornia Hall of Fame wrestling coach!
Coach Grant Gambrall will be splitting duties with Coach Adrian in teaching our young kids how to wrestle. Grant is an NCAA All American and placed 3rd at the NCAA Chanpionships while wrestling for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Grant is a great wrestler and a great person and, like our other coaches, gives MatTime a good name.
Angela has been a great addition to Del Oro High School and MatTime. Angela is coaching the first ever USA Gold Girls Wrestling Team at MatTime. A Collegiate All American at Wayland Baptist Univsersity and 2x High School State Champion, Angela knows what it takes to get girls involved and engaged in a challenging sport.
Mark Kamizaki has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2007 and was awarded his Black Belt in 2016 by Cassio Werneck.
A rare opportunity to get 1-on-1 instruction from an Olympic Wrestler. Quincey is coaching at MatTime and we're honored to have him!
A Certified Personal Trainer with an impressive resume and a grappling background. We're proud to have Tyler at MatTime!
